S7-1200 Profinet communication settings for WinTr SCADA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the PLC project in the S7\u00a0TIA Portal software.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Navigate to the PLC Properties. On the General Tab of the Properties page select Protection. Ensure that the “Full access (no protection)” radio button is selected. (The Siemens TCP\/IP Ethernet driver does not currently support the use of a password.) Check the “Permit access with Put\/Get communication from remote partner” check box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Ensure that any Data Blocks that need to be accessed have the “Accessible from HMI” box enabled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Ensure that any Data Blocks that need to be accessed have “Optimized block access”\u00a0disabled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Save these settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Re-upload the project to the controller. It may also be necessary to cycle the power on the controller.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
