Focus HMI program works on all operating systems. You can use it as a SCADA program for Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, Armbian, Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi. You can use it for free to program Fultek HMI panels. Focus HMI Program Features

• Focus HMI works on all operating systems running java.

• You can design your screens with java’s unique color management and transparent objects.
• You can group objects and speed up your work with batch processing.
• With four different container panel objects, you can use the screen much larger than it is.

Installing and Running

Raspberry Pi and Orange Pi Installation

• You must have JAVA and JAVA FX installed on your device.
• To install Java, you must connect your device to the internet and run this code on the command line. sudo apt-get install default-jdk

License Fees when used as SCADA

• There is no licensing requirement for Fultek HMI panels. You can use all their features without any charge, and you can use an unlimited number of tags.
• Focus HMI software, when used as a SCADA system on Linux or Windows operating systems, is subject to licensing.
• The license fee is determined by the total number of tags. It doesn’t matter if the labels are internal or external.
• You can use it for free for up to 10 tags. When more than 10 tags are used, the runtime will shut down after 60 minutes.
• A license is valid for a single device and cannot be used on a different device.
• If the device where the license is activated becomes defective, unfortunately, your license will be lost, and you will need to purchase a new license for your new device.

Headless HMI

The Focus HMI software is running inside the Orange PI, as shown in the image above. Installation on devices like Raspberry PI and Orange PI has been explained above. In case of power outages, the SD card can get corrupted. To prevent this, the SD card should have write protection within certain rules. Alternatively, it can be powered by a UPS and shut down using a shutdown command. You can contact us for the prepared Linux(Armbian) image for Orange PI ONE or Orange PI PC Plus.

If the HDMI screen resolution is high or if there are many objects on the page, the performance of the Orange PI may not be sufficient. You can use Mini PCs, which can run on Linux or Windows. You can contact us for the supply of OEM mini PCs.
